GRS is actively looking for a dynamic and organized Senior Audit Associate to join the audit team in Malta for our well-established client, a firm offering tax, legal advisory, and corporate services to a diverse clientele, both locally and internationally. Successful candidates should be positive problem solvers with leadership skills, in addition to being ACCA qualified or possessing an equivalent qualification. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading client audit engagements, including planning executing, directing, and completing financial audits

Applying accounting principles and reporting rules, where applicable

Financial statement presentation

Acquire working knowledge of the client’s business

Proactively interact with key client’s management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvement
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Fully ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years experience within an Audit team

Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs. An advanced level in Microsoft Excel would be considered an asset

Strong communication skills in English and Maltese, both written and spoken

Ability to prioritize and multitask withing deadlines

Ability to quickly adapt to changing client and business dynamics

Risk awareness and high integrity when dealing with confidential information

Self-motivated, proactive with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
