MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage audit, accounting, and tax assignments independently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Supervise and review the work of junior auditors, providing guidance and support when necessary.
  • Oversee the preparation of assurance assignments in Caseware Software.
  • Prepare and review tax computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships and effective communication with clients, subordinates, and relevant authorities during engagements.
  • Ensure client engagements are delivered within established budgets, effectively managing resources and timelines.
  • Report Work in Progress regularly to the Principal/Director, highlighting any challenges or updates as necessary.
  • Adhere to the highest professional standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in all client dealings.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members on various assignments and special projects.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and client service offerings.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audit, ideally within a professional services firm.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English languages, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in accounting software, including Caseware, and strong IT literacy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff.
  • High level of attention to detail, with a focus on delivering quality work.
  • Commitment to professional development and keeping up with industry standards and regulations.
