GRS Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading private equity real estate firm in Limassol, currently seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join its expanding finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to become part of a structured, fast-paced, and international environment, with exposure to multi-entity operations across different jurisdictions. The role offers strong stability, hands-on responsibility, and the chance to work closely with senior finance stakeholders in a well-established organisation.
This position would suit a highly organised, detail-driven Senior Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant who enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day finance processes and contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple companies.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records across multiple international entities
  • Process accounting entries, supplier invoices, and payments in a timely and structured manner
  • Manage weekly and monthly payment runs, liaising with suppliers to resolve queries and confirm payments
  • Prepare monthly trial balances, reconciliations (bank, supplier, and intercompany), and supporting schedules
  • Assist with VAT compliance and financial reporting requirements
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc analysis and operational finance tasks
  • Work confidently with accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar advantageous)
  • Collaborate closely with senior finance management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum 5 years’ solid bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally within a busy multi-entity environment
  • Strong understanding of core accounting principles (IFRS knowledge considered an advantage)
  • Proficient in MS Excel, including reconciliations and formula-based work
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred
  • Fluent in both Greek and English (written and spoken)
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise effectively in a deadline-driven environment
  • Able to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative finance team
