One of the world’s leading corporate service providers are working in partnership with GRS to recruit a Senior Business Compliance Manager to join their growing Limassol team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of compliance experience ideally within the corporate services sector. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the quality of the completed client acceptance file reviews.
  • Responsible for training of the team members both on the job and in formal training sessions.
  • Responsible for providing content driven feedback towards the team members.
  • Responsible for supporting the analysts on the content of the communication with the Client Team.
  • Responsible for supporting the client outreach by the analysts. Client outreach will be timely, client friendly, to-the-point, and minimized in both number of times and numbers of questions.
  • Activities are performed in close cooperation with the Team Lead, Quality Assurance and the Business Compliance Director
  • Being the go-to specialist for all compliance related questions and industry expert.
  • Be involved in the design and implementation of new/updated compliance procedures, work instructions and forms.
  • Performing quality control on the output of the CDD Team on client acceptance and file review.
  • Training and advising the CDD Team and Client Units on best practices.
  • Involved with compliance controls & analyses (lay out of compliance dashboard, introduction ‘in control statements’ to be signed-off in the teams).
  • Ability to ‘look ahead’ at and anticipate on future developments, legislation, etc.
  • Involved with flawless execution of first line compliance tasks.
  • Functional reporting line for Analysts and Cluster Leads.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • A minimum of 8-10 years working compliance experience ideally in the corporate services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations and procedures, and Sanction regulations.
  • Pragmatic but critical approach, attention to detail and problem-solving mentality.
  • Excellent fluency in English, both verbal and in writing.
  • Good drafting and planning skills.
