An ASP providing tailormade personal and corporate financial service solutions, are working with GRS to recruit a Senior Compliance Officer to join their Limassol office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years Compliance experience. The team believe in building solid relations with their partners and customers, and regularly invest in product development in order to satisfy their customers’ needs. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Build in the efficient system of the Compliance department.
  • Communication and cooperation in gathering information from clients, assisting in building profiles.
  • Conduct successful Regulatory Audit of the Cyprus Fiduciary Company
  • Assist in the compliance process ensuring that all compliance risks are identified, assessed, reported and monitored
  • Examine the compliance issues related to new contracts.
  • Maintain a good understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements and provide advice and guidance to the various departments.
  • Develop, maintain and update compliance and AML manuals, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct any AML/Compliance training when required.
  • Communication with the Regulator.
  • Communication with Corporate Admin on client matters.
  • Participation in bank and PSP account opening.
  • Research and review new jurisdictions to obtain gambling license. Participate in obtaining license from the Compliance perspective.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum 5 years of prior experience in a similar position.
  • A background in the legal and compliance sector as the role includes reporting to the Cyprus Bar Association and CySEC.
  • Strong knowledge of MIFID II.
  • Good knowledge of the financial & fiduciary service industries.
  • Fluent in both Greek and English.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills.
  • Team-player, able to work under pressure, creativity, innovation and problem solving skills is a must.
