Our client is a Global Trust & Fiduciary services company with offices in 26 countries and over 900 employees globally. Due to expansion, they now have an opportunity for a Senior Corporate Executive to join their vibrant Malta based team. The successful candidate will need to have exceptional interpersonal skills and at least 3 years previous experience in a similar role. Trust or pension experience would be seen as an advantage. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Being clients’ main contact for matters arising on a day-to-day basis
  • Performing all aspects of company and trust administration including but not limited to;
  • Preparing documents in relation to transactions, including minutes and resolutions
  • Maintaining company and trust records, including due diligence, whilst ensuring physical files and database master files are maintained in a correct manner
  • Preparing for and attending client entities’ board meetings
  • Handling of the statutory filings of our client base, including liaising with officials from the MFSA, MBR and other government departments as necessary
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of an extensive client portfolio of local companies and trusts, maintaining high-level relationships with key clients in various sectors, and assisting them with top-notch corporate governance as required by both their business and the team’s manager.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE  
  • MCAST diploma in banking and financial services or a university degree in a related subject
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, specifically Maltese-registered companies
  • A thorough understanding of the company secretary role, including statutory record keeping and the compliance obligations impacting upon the administration area
  • Organisational and project management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A “can-do” attitude, and the ability to establish positive relationships with clients and work colleagues
  • Proficient in the use of IT
