DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analysis and Modelling: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure high-quality input for AI models. Analyse data to derive actionable insights.

Develop and Implement AI Models: Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms to enhance business processes and decision-making.

Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with software engineers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver integrated AI solutions.

Research and Innovation: Stay updated on the latest data and AI trends and advancements. Conduct research to continuously improve models and applications using Azure tools.

Deploy, Monitor, and Optimise Models: Deploy data and machine learning models into production and monitor their performance. Ensure models are accurate and efficient through regular updates and fine-tuning.

Visualisation and Reporting: Create applications, visualisations, and reports to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders using the Microsoft Power Platform.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field of study.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

Experience with Azure cloud platforms, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Power BI.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft Power Platform.

Familiarity with deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong communication skills to present findings and insights effectively.

Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations relevant to Malta and the EU.
