A well-established Façade company in the UK specialising in facades of skyscrapers and other large buildings are moving their operations to Paphos and are working with GRS to recruit a Senior Designer. The successful candidate will have experience in architecture or designing facades and be fluent in English and Greek. We look forward to receiving your CV for this Paphos based Senior Designer role.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the preparation of detailed design drawings relating to all packages in the façade tender liaising with the MD and other team members in order to produce a top-quality final product for the company.
- Usage of the latest CAD programme package to enable smart and accurate presentations to be formulated.
- Help in the control, coordination and filing of all design and specification documents associated with the company business relating to Façade projects in Cyprus.
- Daily liaison and interaction with our other team members, associates and clients as required under the direction and control of the MD and his PA.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeeping of the company image and its development and expansion in the Cypriot market.
- Help produce pretender design solutions to sell to our Clients both with cost saving benefit and top quality.
- Occasionally assisting our Company Secretary with document preparation to send out to our suppliers.
- Produce and issue drawings on regular basis to our Clients and installation team on site.
- Attending design meetings in the office to record minutes and occasionally at business seminars/functions externally at the request of the MD and strictly within the agreed hours of employment in order to help promote the company business.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Proven experience in the construction industry in a design or architecture capacity.
- Proven experience in Auto Cad.
- Experience with Facades designs.
- Fluent in English and Greek.
