A well-established international specialist in eLearning and human capital management software for safety-critical industries are working with GRS to recruit a Senior Developer for their Limassol based operation. The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop scalable services that fit a microservice architecture following Domain Drive Design.

Write high quality code, participate in code reviews and be responsible for other code quality activities.

Write unit and integration tests.

Conduct functional and non-functional testing.

Troubleshoot and debug applications.

Write technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions.

The Software Developer will work with other members of the team to identify and quantify project tasks and contribute to a schedule of delivery commitments and costs. They will proactively manage their own time and communicate progress and issues with their manager.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Experience with designing scalable services following domain driven design.

Has experience with Cloud Infrastructure. Preferably AWS.

Knowledge of Java, JavaScript and frameworks/systems (e.g., Spring, NodeJs)

Experience with NoSQL as well as Relational Databases such as MySQL.

Ability to act as a technical lead. Can be responsible for project delivery and setting quality standards.
