Our client a global Medical Consultancy company which provides Air Ambulance services and Occupational Health Advisors worldwide are working with GRS to recruit Senior Doctor/Health Advisor for a project in the Ivory Coast on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate must be ACLS certified, fluent in both French & English and able to relocate to the Ivory Coast. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing day to day administration of the Client’s medical services

Managing emergencies
-
Ensuring the application and development of the health management system and company standards on occupational medicine, industrial hygiene, medical assistance & emergency, health promotion and community health for the activities of competence.

Guarantee the provision of medical services for employees in line with health policies, through the coordination of identified and qualified health personnel and infrastructural resources either internal or external, in line with company procedures in accordance with the competent Client’s functions.

Oversee and monitor program effectiveness, trend analysis, recommendations and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of occupational medicine and global health programs for the area of expertise in line with the Client’s standards and directives

Participate in the definition, implementation and implementation of health impact assessments of industrial activities on community health

Support the feeding of the Health reporting system and the analysis of the related performance indicators and the use of health applications (ARAMIS, HEIS etc)

Contribute to the development of Integrated Management Systems and their certification

Participate in the planning of Health Technical Audit activities and guarantee their execution in conjunction also with the Safety and Environment function and take care of the implementation, for the activities of competence, of regulatory compliance checks

Ensure scientific support in occupational medicine, global health programs and related epidemiological analyzes

Support relations with local technical authorities in line with company procedures
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Doctor of Medicine and Surgery
-
ACLS certified
-
Specialization in OH or Hygiene and preventive medicine or public health management
-
3+ years of experience in Oil and Gas
-
Emergency experience
-
Experience in management of health systems (occupational medicine and public health)
-
Excellent management and administrative skills
-
Excellent command of French and English
-
Confident user of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Health Applications (ARAMIS, HEIS etc)

Analytical skills
