A global Accountancy Firm is looking for a Senior Due Diligence Officer to join their team in Malta due to their success and continual growth. For this role we ae looking for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in AML and an analytical eye to detail. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting in client engagement and review of business relationships

Reviewing and assessing client risk on an ongoing basis

Assisting in the application of all relevant policies, procedures and processes relating to all areas of anti-money laundering

Identifying issues and escalating to superior while making suitable recommendations
-
Liaising with colleagues and clients to ensure that our obligations are satisfied.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
A solid understanding and an appreciation of AML including Implementing Procedures and Client Onboarding practices

Preferably at least 2 years of experience in compliance (particularly AML), client onboarding or any other experience that requires one to work on different tasks concurrently and manage tight deadlines.

Good verbal communication skills in Maltese

Fluent in written and verbal English

Work well both independently and as part of a team

Highly organised, knows how to prioritise tasks and able to meet tight deadline

Comfortable in dealing with all levels of staff and clients;

Analytical and has a keen eye for detail
-
Willingness to learn and aptitude for acquiring new competencies.
