Our client a leading pharmaceutical company providing consultancy services is looking for a Senior Finance Manager in Malta. Reporting to the CEO, the selected candidate will be responsible to oversee the accounting processes for the group. The position is ideal for an ambitious individual who is currently carrying out ACCA with a couple of years’ experience in the accounting field. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the team, set goals and direction
  • Fill in NSO questionnaires
  • Preparation and submission of Microinvest and helping in submitting other grants.
  • Manage the preparation of the daily/monthly bank reconciliation. 
  • Monitor the accounts bookkeeping on a daily basis.
  • Monitor the accounts payables and accounts receivables.
  • Preparing invoice accrual entry and other month end journals as required
  • Prepare and overseeing the preparation of timely management accounts, and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
  • Prepare annual auditor file and liaising with external auditors during year end.
  • Reviewing the company’s financial information with the management director to identify area of potential improvement.
  • Manage cash flow reporting and assist with cash management
  • Follow standard operating procedures, as well as GDPR and company policies applicable to the job role.
  • Complete training and assessments as and when necessary
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Partially qualified in ACCA or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting .
  • Adaptable
  • Possesses strong organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
