Our client is a well-established, trusted and fully regulated forex trading broker, who has reformed the online forex trading, allowing online traders to gain access to pricing and liquidity of the market. For their expanding team in Limassol, they are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO/Head of Finance to understand and implement operational and managerial strategies in accordance with guidelines approved by the Board of Directors. If you are ready for the next step in your career, apply for this role today!

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with finance team to produce monthly, VAT reports, management accounts, etc. and liaise with auditors to deliver yearly audited accounts for approval.  
  • Lead/assist the Company’s efforts in improving/developing internal financial processes and controls to support the business operations and growth. This includes identification, implementation and optimisation of best-in-class digital infrastructure to improve existing operational processes.  
  • Carry out analysis of financial results and develop both strategic and tactical recommendations.  
  • Monitor results against the budget, control costs and implement procedures to ensure robust financial management processes across the Company.  
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasting and financial reports.  
  • Identify, assess and respond to ongoing and emerging risks to the business and ensure compliance with a growing number of regulations and laws. 
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Lead, manage and develop the finance function.  
  • Assume the responsibility for safeguarding, cash and liquidity management. 
  • Be responsible for generating accurate finance related regulatory reports.  
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University graduate in BA Accounting, Finance, or related field
  •  Qualified or partly qualified ACA or ACCA
  •  At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Fluency in English language is a must
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Excel (formulas, spreadsheet formulation)
  • Experience in a high-volume transaction environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience with CySEC reports will be considered as an advantage
  • Experience in SAP Business One will be considered an advantage
