A well-established multi-asset investment fund established are working with GRS to recruit a Senior Financial Controller to join their Limassol based Family Office. This is a hands-on, senior finance role with a clear progression path to Head of Finance. The successful candidate will play a central role in strengthening the organisation’s financial infrastructure, ensuring robust controls, and supporting the ongoing growth of the platform. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Founder, this role provides full visibility across the finance function and interfaces with the investment team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • End-to-end ownership of financial control, monthly close, and reporting.
  • Management of cash visibility, liquidity forecasting, and banking operations.
  • Handling investment-related financial operations, including capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and reconciliations.
  • Coordinating auditors, tax advisors, administrators, and banks.
  • Developing structured, repeatable processes to reduce key-person risk and strengthen internal controls.
  • This is not a standard accounting role; the position demands a proactive, strategic finance professional capable of leading and enhancing the finance function.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • 7–12 years of finance experience with demonstrable ownership of month-end close and reporting processes.
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent.
  • Strong control mindset, with expertise in reconciliations, audit readiness, and documentation.
  • Exposure to investment structures (PE / VC / funds / family office) is highly advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with the Cyprus regulatory and business environment is a plus.
  • Personal attributes: reliable, proactive, low-ego, and comfortable operating in a high-accountability setting.
