Our client who are expanding their operations in Cyprus offer a number of solutions on a global level including banking services, FX and fund administration. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the existing system, and crafting exciting new features. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, well-documented tested and scalable code.

Participate and actively contribute to an agile squad (SCRUM Team).

Propose and lead new initiatives that contributes to the platform and stack of the team, following the notion of continuous improvement.

Drive the team's capabilities, performance, and growth through mentoring and feedback.

Host 1-1 sessions with Frontend Engineers and be an ambassador of the teams/company's values.

Collaborate and work closely with the Chapter Team lead to maintain the vision and work towards the roadmap of the chapter.

Accurately translate requirements and UX designs into functional frontend code.

Ensure high-quality solutions produced through automated testing and monitoring code metric within established guidelines and time frames.

Participate in planning, design, architecture, and code review.

Build prototypes and work on fast paced projects.

Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
A passion for Frontend Development, with an interest in building intuitive and modern web interfaces,
-
Ideally 5+ Years of Experience developing in the Frontend, or Full-stack role where Frontend experience gained is immersive.

Working Experience in an Agile environment using Scrum.

Commercial experience in a JavaScript framework such as Vue.js or React.

Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. TypeScript experience is highly preferred.

Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, CSS Pre-processors, BEM methodology and other modern CSS techniques such as Grid and Flexbox.
