An innovative development company making fun mobile applications is seeking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel for their Limassol offices. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial law. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review, advise and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including marketing, user acquisition and ads monetization agreements, commercial licenses, software development and IT services agreements and other commercial and technology related agreements.

Assist on corporate, regulatory compliance and other in-house legal matters, such as corporate governance, employment and contractor engagement issues, internal policies, corporate transactions, etc.

Provide legal support to company’s product teams through the entire development lifecycle: software development, graphical design production, content licensing, etc.

Monitor and support compliance with laws and regulations applicable to company or its software products.

Advice and legal support other day-to-day business and activity of the company.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
5+ years of technology related commercial legal experience, preferably from videogames or software development industry.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage many simultaneous projects under deadline pressure.

Demonstrated ability to quickly research and evaluate novel legal issues, with a focus on practical solutions and an understanding of legal risks.

Ability to maintain strong relationships with internal clients, with high level of client service.

Significant experience with International Commercial Contracts (IT/IP), Intellectual Property protection and enforcement, Personal Data Protection, and other technology related legal areas.

Experience working internationally and on a variety of cross-border matters.

Experience with a high-volume workload with the ability to distill and prioritize complex and urgent commercial legal matters.

Excellent written (including contract/legal drafting) and oral communication skills in English.

Interest and familiarity with legal issues facing technology companies.
