Our Client is a fast growing and innovative service provider established in Limassol with international exposure and the goal to provide tech oriented and high-quality services enabling their clients’ growth and success. Due to continuous growth, they are seeking to hire a Senior Merchant Account Manager to join their team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Help setting and implementing the strategic vision for growth and direction related to payments and risk management products.
  • Break down the business and product requirements to development tasks.
  • Oversee internal and cross-department projects and workflow: analysis, prioritisation, planning, documentation integration, configuration, and testing until full implementation by the deadline. This involves bridging gaps between different functions and aligning all the teams involved.
  • Develop detailed project plans to visualise, monitor and track progress of projects to their granular level.
  • Correctly identify project stakeholders, provide them with regular updates with project progress, timely escalations with project risks and consult them for project decisions.
  • Oversee the overall readiness of all departments for the launch of new ecommerce products and functionalities.
  • Be one of the points of contact for internal stakeholders for high level queries and ensure stakeholder reports are always kept up to date
  • Oversee that the management of service providers applications, commercials, and agreements is in line with the different stake holders’ requirements.
  • Oversee the development of strong professional relationships with business partners, all customer-facing departments, finance, and compliance teams.
  • Keep suppliers up to date with relevant company business needs and requirements.
  • Oversee the research, analysis and presentation of new payment and risk management solutions to the head of department according to the current business needs and growth strategy.
  • Be on top of new payments and risk management solutions and trends within the industry.
  • Create and/or Organise service providers information logging, reporting, and sharing processes.
  • Oversee the performance of the merchant account management team, processes, procedures, and training material to maintain high level quality.
  • Help to grow cohesive cross-functional high-performing teams and foster good communication between team members and stakeholders.
  • Regularly initiate performance and cost analysis on tools and department procedures.
  • Assist in performance review meetings, presenting key performance data and goals.
  • Reinforce the culture and core values of the group through appropriate behaviours and actions
  • Constantly develop self to increase personal contribution to the role.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar leading role within the high-risk merchant industries.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Organised, efficient, and looking to succeed within a results-driven team.
  • Attention to details, inquisitive nature and confident in the decision making.
  • Flexibility to work on call evenings and/or weekends if needed.
