MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Designing and developing high volume, low latency applications and delivering high availability and performance

Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

Write well designed, testable, efficient code

Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
-
Prepare and produce releases of software components
-
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
-
Write unit tests and make sure the code is automation friendly
-
Collaborating with the QA team to ensure everything works as it should
-
Mentor associates or junior developers
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University graduate in IT
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience with Python
-
Familiarity with RESTful API development
-
Fluency in English language at a professional level
-
Able to work in a team environment and be able to build strong relationships with colleagues

Comfortable multi-tasking and able to deliver results under pressure and under tight deadlines
