MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and own system architecture

Write and maintain business-critical backend code

Define and evolve the technology stack

Lead and review work delivered by outsourced developers

Own repositories, deployments, and technical decisions

Ensure scalability, security, and long-term maintainability
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
7+ years professional software development experience
-
Strong backend expertise (Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar)
-
Solid experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL
-
Proven experience owning architecture and APIs
-
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
-
Strong Git workflows and PR review experience
-
Comfortable leading offshore or outsourced teams
-
Startup or scale-up experience
-
Experience working with distributed teams
-
Exposure to IP-sensitive or regulated environments
