One of the world’s largest online brokers offering CFDs and other derivatives on forex, indices, cryptocurrencies, commodities, and synthetics to millions of registered users across the globe, are working with GRS to recruit a Senior Trading Analyst for either their Limassol or Nicosia operation. The successful candidate a minimum of 5 years previous experience as a dealer or trading analyst, with a consistent work history and hands-on experience. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribute to business growth by generating ideas for increasing volumes, improving profitability, managing risk, enhancing engagement, and improving quality metrics.
  • Monitor risk metrics, customer activity, revenue, trends, and trading behavior to ensure compliance with risk limits.
  • Evaluate marketplace competitiveness and propose strategies for building and expanding business.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Front Office quantitative analysts, to develop and maintain risk management tools for products and platforms.
  • Maintain relationships with liquidity providers and market markers.
  • Respond to requests from Customer Service, Compliance, Marketing, and Anti-fraud teams.
  • Test new products in pre-launch stages to ensure functional trading conditions and risk management tools
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in a quantitative field (such as finance, mathematics, statistics, or physics) or equivalent in training and experience.
  • 5-8 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in backtesting analysis.
  • Good data analysis skills and knowledge of SQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, financial products, macroeconomics.
  • Ability to develop frameworks and SOPs to improve risk coverage and productivity.
  • Ability to proactively manage projects by identifying shortcomings at an early stage.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to oversee tasks from start to finish.
  • Confidence to address a diverse range of audiences, including all levels of management and internal/external stakeholders.
  • A team-oriented mindset and an enthusiastic approach to new challenges.
  • A keen interest in business news and market trends.
  • Exposure to utilising frameworks and risk metrics to investigate any issues.
  • Ability to work on projects and tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
