Our innovative gaming client is seeking a passionate and experienced SEO Specialist to join their dynamic team in Malta. As an SEO Specialist, you will support the execution of our organic search strategy across priority markets. You will work with content, product, and development teams to improve rankings, enhance topical relevance, and strengthen site performance. Your focus will include keyword research, content optimisation, internal linking, and technical SEO initiatives that drive sustainable organic growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform advanced keyword research and competitor analysis

Optimize content for search intent, topical relevance, and authority

Support link acquisition and local SEO initiatives

Implement structured data and strengthen entity-based optimization

Improve technical SEO (crawlability, indexing, rendering, site architecture)

Contribute to Core Web Vitals and site-speed improvements

Support content clustering and internal linking to build topical depth

Conduct SEO audits and collaborate with developers to implement fixes

Monitor performance using GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.

Deliver clear reporting and insights via Data Studio/Looker

Stay current with evolving SERP and AI-driven search trends (AI Overviews, zero-click)
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
2+ years of hands-on SEO experience

Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
-
Proven experience with keyword research, content optimisation, and link acquisition support

Solid knowledge of site architecture, structured data, crawlability, and indexing principles

Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and Screaming Frog

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions

Excellent English communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate cross-functionally

Proactive problem-solver with strong ownership and attention to detail
