MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
- Manage and coordinate maritime operations for crude oil and refined product trades, including vessel nomination, chartering support, freight coordination, and documentation (B/L, manifests, SGS)
- Liaise with shipowners, brokers, terminals, and inspectors to ensure efficient and compliant cargo movement
- Oversee the logistical planning for energy trading shipments, including scheduling and documentation
- Monitor shipment progress and address any issues that may arise during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communication related to logistics activities
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies in all logistics related tasks
CANDIDIATE PROFILE
- Proven experience in Import/Export/Logistics, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Energy sector
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and compliance standards
- Fluent in English, with additional language skills viewed favourably
- Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment
