A global media company supporting a charitable cause are working with GRS to recruit a Social Media Director for their newly established Cyprus offices. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years previous experience in directing and driving social media activities for a major market brand. Understand the ultimate goals of the campaign and work with the team towards those goals.

Well-rounded; your vision will be focused on social media but must be conscious of what the company are doing in other communication channels.

Understand and implement “wholesale” recruitment methods.

Must be able to find people locally in other countries, recruit them and manage them.

Collect and share best practices from and to other regions.

Understand quantitative marketing concepts such as segmentation, clustering, reach, conversion ratios, etc.

Help collect feedback to optimize by developing and/or implementing feedback tools.

Help develop organic creative: appeal to many different segments.

Work in identifying and adding influencers to the campaign.

Work in segmenting the audience (demographically, attitudinally) to help with the CRM and messaging.

Understand what is important to the different segments so that we can customize and segment the messaging.

Reduce churn through timely messaging.

Create programs that will engage the community in conjunction with the Head of Points.

Create referral campaigns to expand the community.

Continuously seek new audiences.

Work with CRM and media to expand the reach of the campaign.
