Malta’s largest Financial Services/Fintech company is looking for a Software Development Team Leader to join their team and manage a team of 10 people. The role will consist in the medium term will include direct integration with the Global International Stock Exchanges, providing support for Native technologies and developing features based on new order types, fractional shares and AI. This role can be worked on a remote basis from any location if you feel you have the required experience GRS look forward to hearing from you.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and Lead a fully autonomous development team which apart from Backend Developers also includes dedicated Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, UI/UX and Front end Developers which together provide the team with all the tools available to truly operate in an agile and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with various other people such as the CTO, Head of Software, Scrum Master, Product Owner on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with HR on recruitment and other HR related strategies
  • Take ownership of the overall the quality of the application
  • Suggest initiatives that improve working efficiency and quality
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience leading software development teams and a strong technical background
  • Must experience with the following technologies (.NET Core, Web API, MVC / MVVM, C#)
  • Must have an IT related degree or qualification
  • Must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience in investments
