GRS are working in partnership with an international Forex Brand who are searching for a Software Support Officer to join their team. This role will be working closely with a talented IT department and monitoring issues and logs making sure that the team are working towards tight SLAs and deadlines. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor systems and logs for anomalies and issues
  • Monitor the Jira Technical support Queue for incidents
  • Investigate incidents and escalate when required
  • Respond to incident reporters within SLA
  • Analyse incidents and logs and follow the incident trail
  • Produce a technical description of the incident for the engineering team
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • BSc in Computer Science or Related Field
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience with REST APIs and SQL queries
  • Able to analyse logs, investigate and troubleshoot
  • Good communication skills, ability to communicate with incident reporters
  • Capable of writing technical tickets for the engineering teams
  • Some experience in Python and JavaScript
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure
