On behalf of our client, a Nicosia based Automotive company GRS are recruiting a Storekeeper who will assist the workshop. The successful candidate will attend to workshop needs in terms of parts, consumables, fluids, tools and any other material required to execute technical works related to repairs and maintenance. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Issue purchase orders and proposals
  • Receiving materials from suppliers and their proper allocation on their predefined shelves after they have been recorded in the Stores Management System
  • Handling of materials to technical staff members to do repairs on any asset belonging to the company
  • Control of assets and where parts are going to be used after issued from stores
  • Recording of parts issued in the Stores Management System
  • To monitor the warranty process for parts on new vehicles, proper labelling and storing of those parts that are to be claimed
  • Responsibility of stock, parts, common tools and equipment to be used in any of the functions of the department
  • Filling out of job cards or any other documentation related to the job to fully assure traceability
  • Always ensure effective cleaning and organization of work areas and tools, including hazardous wastes management
  • Follow company health and safety policies
  • Carry out other duties that can be allocated or delegated by the Stores Supervisor and Stores Manager
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Knowledgeable of automotive vehicle parts and accessories
  • Familiar with inventory principles and practices; proper methods of store keeping, including the receipt, inspection, storage and issuance of supplies
  • Possess good record maintenance skills using computer and related software applications
  • Capable of handling heavy or bulky automotive parts, accessories and equipment
  • Maintain effective work relationships with vendors, officials and employees
  • Knowledge in English language will be an asset
  • Hands on Experience will be considered as an asset
  • Forklift licence will be considered an advantage
  • Ability to shift work including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
