On behalf of our client, a multinational oil and gas company with offices in Nicosia, we are hiring a Supply Chain / Materials Manager Coordinator.  The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience of supply chain experience or 3 years’ of experience as a logistics coordinator.  If you are interested in joining a large and very established company, then please send us your CV for this Nicosia based Supply Chain / Materials Manager Coordinator role.  Please note that this role is a 6 month contract with potential to be extended.  
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Preparation and management of inventory tangibles purchased for the A3 well
  • Responsible for recording and monitoring inbound and outbound inventory items
  • Supports finance team with required reports on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Support Supply Chain contracts team with contract administration including
  • Handles monthly contract reports
  • Assists Cyprus Supply Chain Manager in completing tasks as assigned
  • Assists in the external and internal audit process by preparing reports and analyses, while addressing questions that arise during company audits
  • Investigates and prepares reports to answer inquiries from vendors, partners, governmental agencies and management
  • Assists with other logistics related tasks
  • Assists with post award contract management
  • Trains, assists and advises other members of the supply chain team in activities related to the duties of this position
  • Liaising with external advisors, auditors, as well as internal stakeholders
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related area
  • Typically requires 5 years of Supply Chain / Materials Management  experience within a publicly held company or a large privately held organization or has at least three years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work independently and to handle multiple tasks
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Excellent knowledge of various software packages, e.g., Microsoft Excel, SAP, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Greek language both written and spoken
