A dynamic software development company with a presence across Europe, LATAM, and Oceania, is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a proactive and technically capable Support Engineer to join their growing team in Nicosia. In this role, you will take ownership of client support incidents, working directly with customers to identify and resolve issues. You will be the first line of contact for many of our clients and will collaborate closely with delivery teams and developers to ensure resolutions are timely, accurate, and meet service-level expectations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Take ownership of customer incidents and drive resolution within SLAs.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions for technical issues.

Escalate unresolved incidents to appropriate internal teams.

Provide clear, accurate, and timely feedback to clients.

Monitor system performance and generate regular reports.

Maintain detailed records of all incidents and document technical knowledge.

Assist with database administration (SQL Server) and performance monitoring.

Write and review well-documented code following internal standards.

Maintain open and regular communication with clients to ensure their evolving needs are met.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Strong technical competence with Microsoft desktop applications and productivity tools.

Proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server database administration.

Solid programming and documentation skills.

Experience in data analysis, systems design, and implementation.

A proactive, client-focused approach with strong communication skills.

A team player who shares knowledge and upholds our company values.

Commitment to continual learning and certification (MS Certified Professional a plus).
