A wealth management company with offices in Cyprus and abroad is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Russian speaking Systems Administrator to join their Limassol based offices. We are looking for a proactive and hands-on IT Support & Systems Administrator to provide daily end-user support and maintain the office IT infrastructure. This role combines desktop support, systems administration, and basic networking responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, service-oriented, and comfortable working face-to-face with users across multiple office locations in Limassol.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for on-site and remote users
  • Support and troubleshoot Windows and macOS endpoints
  • Set up, configure, and maintain workstations and peripheral
  • Assist with meeting rooms, printers, cabling, and other hands-on IT tasks
  • Communicate technical issues in clear, simple language
  • Administer user accounts and permissions in: Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Ensure proper access control and security practices
  • Administer and support Windows Server environments
  • Provide basic Linux system administration
  • Support and maintain office networking equipment (MikroTik, HP Aruba, Wi-Fi, switching)
  • Monitor infrastructure using tools such as Zabbix or Prometheus
  • Assist with VPNs, firewalls, and network segmentation where required
  • Work within a ticketing system (e.g., Jira / Jira Service Management)
  • Document incidents, solutions, and internal procedures
  • Maintain IT documentation and internal knowledge base
  • Coordinate with external vendors when necessary
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before escalation
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Experience administering Google Workspace, Entra ID (Azure AD), or Active Directory
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux systems
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi)
  • Experience with MikroTik and/or HP Aruba networking equipment
  • Experience working in a ticketing system
  • Practical support experience for Windows and macOS environments
  • Native or fluent Russian (written and verbal). Intermediate level of English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to switch between multiple tasks and office locations during the day
  • Organized and reliable in daily operational work
  • Comfortable providing in-person support
  • Takes ownership and responsibility for tasks from start to finish
  • Proactive in identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Curious and detail-oriented
  • Able to explain complex technical concepts clearly and simply
Nice to have
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash)
  • SharePoint administration
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation
  • MDM or endpoint automation tools
  • Virtualization and private cloud platforms (VMware, Proxmox, OpenStack)
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
  • Basic experience with containers (Docker)
  • Experience writing IT documentation, SOPs, or policies
  • Driver’s license and access to a car
