Our client who aids and advises Gaming companies is searching for a Systems Auditor to join their growing team in Malta. In this role you will be working within our clients Authorisations Department and be responsible for the reviewing and processing of various applications handled by the Authorisations Department. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reviewing documentation submitted by gaming operators further to an application for a new License (including but not limited to application forms, review of applicants’ operational policies and procedures, gaming system, technical setup, and operational agreements)
  • Reviewing documentation submitted with applications for any new request for authorisation or notifications (including but not limited to changes to Technical Setups, addition of Verticals or Game Types, addition of games and Game providers, updated policies, and procedures)
  • Reviewing of system and compliance audit reports, and conducting live studio audits where required
  • Ensuring that operators are compliant with the applicable legislation, and are operating in accordance with the Authority’s directives and policies
  • Reviewing and monitoring compliance of gaming operators’ systems and submit recommendations
  • Ensuring completion of reviews and audit assignments, and to provide independent, objective assurance and recommendations
  • Formulating; and/or assist in the development/formulation of; and/or maintaining processes/policies to achieve the objectives of the Department as may be communicated from time to time
  • Liaising with other Departments as necessary
  • Carrying out special investigations or other assignments that may be requested from time to time
  • Participating in meetings and/or calls with prospective applicants or general queries
  • Ensuring the goals and functions of the Authority and the Department are met and that professional standards are always maintained
  • Carrying out any other duties/tasks as may be instructed from time to time by the Senior Executive, Team Lead, Manager, Head and/or Chief Regulatory Officer.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • In possession of a Degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems (MQF Level 6)
  • Possession of experience or qualifications in business, finance or accounting will be considered an asset
  • Possession of or willingness to pursue recognised certification to undertake IT audits (such as CISA or equivalent)
  • Experience in information systems and financial auditing will be considered as an asset
  • Interested in IT industry developments and changes
  • Capable of working within a team, manage multiple engagements and work to demanding deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Ability to identify high risk areas and organise and present findings and recommendations in a concise manner (both verbal and written)
  • Smart, highly motivated, well presented and with good communication skills
  • Thinks analytically and acts strategically
  • Takes ownership and actions.
