Our client, one of the leading Corporate Service companies in Malta are looking for a Tax Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be in possession or in the process of studying for the ACCA qualification whilst having at least 2 years’ experience in a tax related role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Computing and reviewing income tax returns and computations.

Handling any technical and legislative issues for corporate and individual clients.

Processing income tax refund claims, shareholder registrations and DDT10 submissions.

Liaising with the Office of The Commissioner for Revenue on various tax matters.

Preparation of any Commissioner for Revenue tax ruling requests.

Handling any other tax compliance tasks as required.

Researching and implementing any local and international tax developments.

Training and preparing staff involved in tax related assignments.

Handling of any documents relating to share transfer capital gains and stamp duty.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
ACCA qualified (or equivalent degree) or pursuing studies and part qualified.

Minimum of two years’ experience working in tax compliance, with a solid working knowledge in Corporate tax returns, refund claims, and share transfers.

Good communication skills.
