An international mobile developer and publishing company are working with GRS to recruit a Tax and VAT Manager for their Limassol office. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Overall responsibility over the tax and VAT compliance of the Cypriot companies of the Group.
  • Preparation and submission of income tax computations, tax returns and VAT returns for Group companies in Cyprus.
  • Review and monitoring of tax and VAT compliance of Group companies in other jurisdictions.
  • Ensuring international tax compliance of the Group companies (transfer pricing, DAC6, CFC rules, CbCR etc.).
  • Maintaining effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax and VAT process.
  • Review agreements and transactions from a tax and VAT perspective to identify possible risks.
  • Providing tax and VAT advice to the Group companies.
  • Handling tax and VAT matters of the group and liaising with external auditors, in-house finance teams, bankers, lawyers and advisors.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Membership with a professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA) is a must.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the tax or VAT department ideally within a big-four firm.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Cypriot tax legislation and principles of international Tax Law.
  • Experience in preparation/filing of all types of tax forms and returns.
  • Knowledge of international tax regulations (transfer pricing, DAC6, CFC rules, CbCR etc.) will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent command of the English language. Russian language will be considered an advantage.
  • Ability to use MS Excel to a high standard is a must.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Being able to work independently, with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of commitment with a drive to deliver results under pressure.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, accountability & responsibility.
