MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall responsibility over the Tax and VAT compliance of the group companies in various jurisdictions Handling Tax and VAT issues of the group and liaising with external auditors, bankers, lawyers and advisors

Preparation and submission of provisional/final income tax computations and corporation tax returns for group companies in Cyprus and other jurisdictions

Leading tax reviews for audit of financial statements

Preparation and submission of VAT returns in Cyprus and other jurisdictions

Producing ad hoc reports / memos for management

Review agreements and transactions from tax perspective to identify possible tax risks

Dealing with tax rulings, enquiries and investigations

Preparation of personal income tax returns for UBO and key employees

Ensuring international tax compliance of the group
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Membership of a professional accounting body is a must.
-
Extensive relevant experience in Tax or VAT department accounting or audit firm is a must.

Excellent command of English language.

Excellent knowledge of the Cyprus Tax legislation and principles of International Tax Law.

Experience in preparation/filing of all types of tax forms and returns.

Knowledge of international tax regulations (CFC, CBC, transfer pricing, DAC6) is a must.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Being able to work independently, with ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines. High levels of commitment with a drive to deliver results under pressure.

Ability to use MS Excel to a high standard is must.

Team player with very good interpersonal skills.
