A leading Telecommunications company is searching for a Tech Sales Engineer to join their team in Malta. You will be required to acquire and develop new business accounts for data and fibre connectivity by establishing and maintaining a healthy business relationship with business clients. In this role, you will also need to focus on ensuring that commercial targets are met. The perfect candidate will have a degree in Engineering or IT related degree, and ideally experience in sales. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and maintain an excellent business relationship with existing and potential clients

Ensure that pre-set monthly, quarterly and yearly targets are achieved

Responsible for the setting and implementation of account development strategy in order to reach agreed targets

Compile monthly reports assessing performance, current progress against objectives, highlighting upcoming plans along with any known or foreseen problems

Maintain complete and accurate records of all client contacts.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification in ICT / telecommunications (candidates with Advanced Technical Diplomas or CCNA certification will also be considered)

Negotiation and closing skills
-
Ability to work with tight deadlines and with minimum supervision

Flexibility to work irregular hours when the need arises

Excellent written communication and presentation skills
-
Experience in a sales environment will be considered an asset.
