Join a leading IT company in Malta as a Technical Implementation Consultant. Our client is renowned for delivering innovative solutions in the fintech and IT sectors, and they are seeking a dedicated professional to join their dynamic team. Your primary responsibilities will be to work with clients in the FinTech industries to design, configure and deploy solutions, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the solution. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. The person we are looking for should ideally have a business or computing related degree or equivalent and 2+ years of experience working in the industry. 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyse and understand business requirements and processes to provide consultancy to clients 
  • Design and manage product implementations including the handling of system installations, integration pipelines, rule configurations, business workflows and system upgrades
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the industry to contribute to the continuous improvement of the product
  • Collaborate with the business development team by supporting pre-sales initiatives and providing technical insights 
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • 2+ years of experience in implementing software projects, or relevant experience in the FinTech industry
  • A tertiary level degree in Business and/or IT 
  • Experience in managing requirements and configuration of enterprise-grade setups 
  • Exposure to integration and data centric projects
  • Exposure in working on Linux environments 
  • Proficient in managing and analysing data with strong expertise in SQL
  • Solid time-management and good communication skills 
  • Logical thinking, detail oriented and systematic to deliver high quality solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Fluency in English is a must
Nice to have
  • Knowledge and experience in the fields of AML, Responsible Gaming or Fraud 
  • Knowledge and experience in gaming, banking and financial services industries 
  • Basic knowledge of REST-API based integrations
  • Experience working with big data systems 
  • Experience in using Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based applications using Docker or Kubernetes
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €35,000-€45,000 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, and any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability
