A global Payments Services & Software company is looking for an experienced Technical Support Analyst to join their Resolutions team in Malta. They are at an exciting stage of launching a new project and are looking for someone who can assist with providing resolutions to queries or incidents on the software systems, ensuring responses are provided within the agreed service level agreements. The ideal candidate will be proficient in testing methodologies and test case execution, be proficient in SQL and ideally have experience within the Payments sector. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide support with incidents and resolution tracking and reporting.
  • Perform testing and conduct detailed analyses of these tests, with the aim of identifying areas of improvement in their execution.
  • Keep detailed documentation related to the outcome of carried-out test cases.
  • Actively collaborate with other team members in order to advance the issue resolution routines and quality of the testing systems.
  • Participate in 24*7 roster as required
  • Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • A degree in Business and IT or an equivalent professional qualification
  • Past experience in payments industry will be considered an asset
  • Must be proficient in SQL Language
  • Proficient in testing methodologies and test case execution/ verification with a keen eye for details
  • Exhibits strong documentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast paced environment
  • Ability to be highly flexible in his/her approach to work and capable to quickly shift focus based on priorities
  • Possess good communication skills and able to perform under pressure
  • Available to work on shift basis, as required by the company
