GRS Recruitment is excited to represent a client who is seeking a Permanent Technical Writer for a dynamic Payment Solutions company located in the beautiful city of Limassol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Content Writer with a passion for the payments industry to contribute to an innovative team that is dedicated to excellence.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Revamp existing documentation
  • Thoroughly review and analyze existing developer documentation and user guides.
  • Identify areas for improvement in terms of clarity, structure, and user experience.
  • Develop a comprehensive plan for revamping the documentation, incorporating state-of-the-art UX and UI principles.
Create user-centric content:
  • Write clear and concise instructions, tutorials, and guides that cater to different levels of technical expertise.
  • Utilize visuals, diagrams, and screenshots to enhance understanding and engagement.
  • Ensure that the documentation is accessible and user-friendly, even for those without extensive technical backgrounds.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to gather information, understand product features, and ensure accuracy and consistency in the documentation.
  • Obtain feedback from users and incorporate their insights into the documentation.
Maintain and update documentation:
  • Keep the documentation up-to-date as products and features evolve.
  • Monitor and address any user inquiries or feedback related to the documentation.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a technical writer in the software development industry.
  • Strong understanding of UX and UI principles.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt content to different audiences.
  • Experience working with collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Experience in the payments industry (preferred but not required).
Additional skills (preferred)
  • Experience with technical writing tools and software.
  • Knowledge of programming languages.
  • Experience with content management systems
