On behalf of our client, a Prominent Legal Firm, GRS Recruitment are seeking Technology, Media, Telecommunications and IP Senior Lawyer to take ownership of complex matters and play a leading role in the continued growth of the department. This is a role for an ambitious, results-driven and technology-savvy lawyer who wants to operate at the frontier of where law meets technology. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run sophisticated advisory and contentious matters from end to end, across both regulatory and transactional work, with the autonomy and commercial judgement expected of a senior practitioner
- Act as a trusted adviser to international operators in sectors including iGaming, technology, automotive, pharmaceuticals, telecoms and media
- Develop and lead one or more areas of specialisation within the department, whether in data protection, intellectual property and IP management, gaming regulation, artificial intelligence and EU digital regulation or technology contracts
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team, and help shape the department's knowledge, processes and use of legal technology
- Build your external profile through publications, speaking engagements and contributions to comparative guides and the firm's TMT series
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Be fully warranted and have at least five years' post-qualification experience in TMT, IP or a related field (an LL.M. or relevant specialist qualification will be considered favourably)
- Have demonstrable expertise in one or more of the department's core areas
- Be able to work independently and under pressure, be results-oriented, and have a keen interest in legal and technological developments with a view to growing one's own profile and that of the firm
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- €45,000 - €65,000 Gross Per Annum
- Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
