One of the world’s largest financial services companies are working with GRS to recruit a Trade Surveillance Analyst to join their rapidly expanding Limassol operation. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Analyst with competent SQL skills. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and handle daily trade surveillance alerts.
- Prioritize efforts based on a risk and data-driven approach.
- Investigations and root-cause analysis report generation.
- Manage and follow-up escalations with various compliance teams and vendors.
- Optimization and design of sophisticated alerting mechanisms.
- Communication with various internal teams and external vendors
- The RegTech department oversees building and operating reporting & monitoring technology solutions allowing the group to be compliant consistently with its various regulatory requirements globally.
- The Trade Surveillance operations team is part of the RegTech department and in charge to operate, optimize and enhance their trade surveillance monitoring solutions.
- The role involves working with different R&D, compliance, and tier-1 external vendors’ teams to perform comprehensive and thorough ongoing investigations, reporting and protective acts to help obtaining safe and clean trading.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Educated to University degree level.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Data, Risk or Business Analyst.
- Profound SQL skill.
- Strong analytical, creative and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadline.
- Positive attitude.
- Proficient knowledge of financial / trading data would be advantageous.
