One of the world’s largest financial services companies are working with GRS to recruit a Trade Surveillance Analyst to join their rapidly expanding Limassol operation. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Analyst with competent SQL skills. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and handle daily trade surveillance alerts.
  • Prioritize efforts based on a risk and data-driven approach.
  • Investigations and root-cause analysis report generation.
  • Manage and follow-up escalations with various compliance teams and vendors.
  • Optimization and design of sophisticated alerting mechanisms.
  • Communication with various internal teams and external vendors
  • The RegTech department oversees building and operating reporting & monitoring technology solutions allowing the group to be compliant consistently with its various regulatory requirements globally.
  • The Trade Surveillance operations team is part of the RegTech department and in charge to operate, optimize and enhance their trade surveillance monitoring solutions.
  • The role involves working with different R&D, compliance, and tier-1 external vendors’ teams to perform comprehensive and thorough ongoing investigations, reporting and protective acts to help obtaining safe and clean trading.
  • This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and proactive individual who desire to grow both personally and professionally by designing and building innovative trade surveillance monitoring solutions in a rapidly growing innovative company.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Educated to University degree level.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Data, Risk or Business Analyst.
  • Profound SQL skill.
  • Strong analytical, creative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadline.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Proficient knowledge of financial / trading data would be advantageous.
