A boutique law firm with an international outlook are working with GRS to recruit a Trainee Lawyer. The successful candidates should fulfil the requirements under the Subsidy project for Trainee Advocates 2017 - 2023 offered by the Cyprus Bar Association. The firm has a diverse client base ranging in nature and size from large multinational publicly owned companies to privately held businesses and high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting the lawyers of the firm on their everyday court appearances.

Providing support and assistance to the lawyers on the preparation of the cases.

Preparing and presenting a portfolio of cases before the District Courts in the absence of the lawyer in charge.

Research of case law and statutes of Cyprus, UK and/or EU legislation.

Preparation of Letters and Affidavits.

Drafting of Claims, Defenses and various Applications.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Degree in law.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and excellent computer literacy.

Ability to multi-task in a busy and demanding work environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.

Knowledge of another language will be considered an advantage.
