An exciting opportunity has arisen for a person who holds OOW (Officer of the Watch) license to join a global Marine Shipping Operator in Malta. You will receive full training to become competent in the training and recruitment of employees. The perfect candidate will hold OOW license and have great operational skills. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up interviews with seafarers and relevant stakeholders

Interviewing of seafarers

Cadet planning, assist as required by the Training & Recruitment Manager

Appraisal reviews
-
Assess promotion cases of seafarers, in cooperation with the Training & Recruitment Manager

Make arrangements and plan training for seafarers

As required, assist the PEC operator with the PEC and/or Simulator Training planning
-
Any other tasks assigned to him/her by the Training & Recruitment Manager.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

An Officer of the Watch license (OOW Navigational or OOW Engineering)

Operational skills

Be organized and meticulous

Fluent in spoken and written English

Stress-resistant

Self-motivated and have the ability to use own initiative

Although recruitment experience will be considered an asset, training will be given to persons with the right attitude.
