DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Engagement: Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets, delivering customized travel recommendations and seamless itineraries.

Bookings & Reservations: Coordinate and book flights, hotels, transportation, and other travel services, ensuring accuracy and securing the best available rates.

Industry Expertise: Stay informed about travel trends, destinations, and industry developments to offer up-to-date advice and creative travel solutions.

Itinerary Management: Design detailed travel plans including sightseeing options, dining recommendations, and logistical arrangements.

Documentation Support: Guide clients in securing visas, travel insurance, and other essential documentation.

Exceptional Service: Provide end-to-end support, resolving any travel issues or disruptions with professionalism and care.

Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with airlines, hotels, and tour operators to enhance service quality and value.

Sales Focus: Meet and exceed sales targets through effective upselling and promotion of travel packages.

Crisis Handling: Offer calm and effective assistance during travel changes or emergencies, ensuring client satisfaction.

Administration: Keep accurate records of bookings, client communications, and financial transactions within the internal travel management system.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Agent, ideally within the marine travel sector.

Strong understanding of travel destinations, products, and services.

Experience with marine booking and ticketing is essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first attitude.

Confident sales and negotiation abilities with a record of achieving targets.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple client requests simultaneously.

Proficient in travel booking systems and general computer applications.

Adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or public holidays when required.
