A leading Corporate & Trust provider with offices in Malta and another jurisdiction is looking for a Trust Accounts Officer to join their team in Malta. You will report to Head of Finance and be responsible for the Trust Accounts function. The perfect candidate will have started the ACCA, be fluent in Maltese and have 2 years’ experience in a similar role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide client bookkeeping to a portfolio of trust clients and companies

Perform bank and other nominal ledgers reconciliations

Assist in the preparation of accounts for reporting purposes

Liaise with trustees and handling various requests in a timely manner

Liaise with auditors and assisting in the preparation of final accounts for audit

Conduct general accounting duties as may be required
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Initial stages of ACCA qualification (or equivalent)

Proficient in English and Maltese
-
Must have minimum two years’ experience in similar role
