Our client one of the leading international Corporate Services and Advisory firms in Malta with an excellent reputation now have an opportunity for a Trust Administrator to join their growing team. For this role, the ideal candidate will ideally come from a CSP background or relevant field, and it would be a great advantage if you have started the STEP qualification or intend to do so. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with the administration of a portfolio of trusts including setting up, as well as maintain trust records, coordinate the preparation of trust accounts, tax returns, and deal with correspondence with clients and other stakeholders
  • Assist with the preparation of trust reports and other regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Assist with the management of trust assets, including investments, bank accounts, and property;
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of trust transactions.
  • Assist with the maintenance of client relationships, including communicating with clients and other stakeholders, and provide them with regular updates on the status of their trust
  • Assisting with the preparation of trust reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Assist with administrative overview and control of maintenance on client data including database reviews.
  • Assist with the coordination of specific transactions with investment house, lawyers, accountants and tax advisers.
  • Assist with ensuring client compliance with various company laws and regulations; and
  • Assist with other due diligence and compliance records for clients’ entities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Ideally at least 1 years professional experience in a Corporate Administration, Trust or related field
  • A degree or A’ Level standard education.
  • Possession of the STEP qualification or currently studying towards it will be considered and advantage.
  • Background in preparing trust accounts or similar relevant account management.
