An established and leading name in the IT industry are working with GRS to recruit a Website Administrator and Developer to join their IT infrastructure and business applications division in Nicosia. The successful candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role and must be able to handle the company’s web ecosystem.  If you are interested to join a market leader in the IT industry, we are looking forward to receiving your application for this Nicosia based Website Administrator and Developer role.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the website design and content according to industry-best practices and in cooperation and as directed by the website business owner.
  • Work in cooperation with the Content Writer(s) for the continuous update of the website with meaningful and fresh content, against a content update plan.
  • Maintain continuity of themes, designing layouts, streamlining navigation and increasing online presence.
  • Use tools to analyse website traffic and user’s engagement metrics and continuously improve through actions.
  • Work with content writers to help in optimizing content according to SEO and monitor for further enhancing.
  • Develop optimized plans for the website that increase the company’s SERP rankings in cooperation with Marketing and the Content Writer(s).
  • Ensure compliance with law including copyright and data protection (e.g. copyright and GDPR).
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic, in cooperation with Marketing.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in Computer Science, Web Technologies, or related fields.
  • Work experience as a Website Manager/Administrator for at least 5 years.
  • Technical Skills HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web publishing, and website administration & development e.g. WordPress, Umbraco.
  • Experience in developing web content using CMS like WordPress or Umbraco will be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in Umbraco CMS will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience of SEO and web traffic metrics analysis and optimization.
  • SharePoint development experience and other languages for portals and workflow development is a strong advantage.
  • Active professional engagement with social media.
  • Excellent writing skills in Greek and English.
