The ideal candidate will manage large-scale cloud infrastructure, ensure cloud security, optimize costs, and maintain high availability of production environments. This role requires expertise in Windows systems, proficiency in scripting, and a strong understanding of cloud technologies. Additionally, experience with Agile methodology, CI/CD concepts, and Git versioning is essential. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate on a multi-cultural environment team with colleagues from all over the world, while enhancing your working practices.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain large-scale cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and GCP.
  • Implement and enforce cloud security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Optimize cloud costs by analyzing usage patterns, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing cost-saving strategies.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure resources.
  • Ensuring high availability of production environments and minimizing downtime pose significant challenges, requiring proactive monitoring, rapid troubleshooting, and effective incident response.
  • Employ Agile methodology to deliver incremental improvements and respond quickly to changing requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve systems and processes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Proficiency in Windows systems administration, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles and TCP/IP stacks.
  • Experience working with large-scale cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS and GCP.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and concepts.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology, CI/CD concepts, and Git versioning.
  • Ability to write and review scripts as needed, with a focus on automation and process improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of cloud environments.
What Would Give You The Edge
  • Windows, Powershell or Python, AWS or other Cloud, CI/CD (Any of Octopus, Jenkins, Ansible) Terraform or AWS Cloudformation, Git/Github
  • Familiarity with an additional development language such as Python, GO, C++, or .Net
  • Knowledge of MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Administration.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Configuration management platforms such as Octopus Deploy
  • Linux System Administration
  • Knowledge & Expertise: Educational Background and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
