On behalf of our Client a private family, GRS are looking to recruit a Yacht Captain cum Engineer to join a beautiful 78 Feet vessel based in Limassol, Cyprus. This is a permanent position, and the ideal candidate will have considerable maritime experience along with significant experience gained in yacht or the merchant Navy Sectors. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

Safe navigation and operation of the yacht

Budget management

Managing money and accounting on board

Decision making with regard to crew

Overseeing the upkeep of the vessel

Taking control of repairs and yard visits

Assuming the role of ‘host’ and entertaining when necessary

Manage refit projects
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Previous experience of yacht handling is essential
-
Handling a yacht of the same or similar sizes a distinct advantage
-
Previous Cyprus experience preferred
-
Holds all relevant qualifications,
-
Sound Maintenance knowledge and MUST be hands-on
-
Must be flexible in terms of schedule and availability
-
Ready at short notice
-
Family oriented individual that is willing to serve along with do the boat duties

Impeccable manners
-
Preferably Asian as the family is Asian
