The Account Manager will commercially handle and manage a range of Voice/SMS accounts with the objective of ensuring profitability and traffic flow and maintaining good relations with the customers/suppliers. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and monitor inbound/outbound minutes of key accounts to ensure maximum profitability, achieved by negotiating rates and traffic allowances with customers to optimize profit

Decrease costs of outbound minutes by approaching vendors according to rate changes in the market

Maintain good relation with account managers by contacting them on a daily basis (via e-mail and telephone) in order to balance traffic (inbound and outbound)

Negotiate and close SWAP deals and ensure traffic flow in a steady way over a certain period

Monitor quality parameters on a daily basis to ensure that all operations are running efficiently and effectively

Coordinate between different departments respectively to ensure technical issues are being solved in a timely manner.

Deal with finance department regarding late or missed payments

Solve disputes related to rate discrepancies in invoices by coordinating with the Finance Department

Research new route combinations to increase traffic volumes from accounts and reduce current costs

Upload all customer rates relevant to account distribution

Developing the business by acquiring new interconnections and networking

Attending international telecom conferences in different countries
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS, Marketing, Economics or related field.

2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator

Basic understanding and creation of Financial Models and profitability

Ability to analyse cost variances and trends
-
Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office applications.

Exceptional negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
