Our client a boutique travel firm based in Malta are currently working with GRS to recruit a Corporate Travel Consultant. This role will be within their business travel department with an emphasis on business account sales and we are looking for an individual with in-depth IATA knowledge and the use of AMADEUS. The focus shall be handling various corporate clients within the tourism industry and supporting the business with crucial short- and long-term goals.   • Processing of flights, hotel and car rental bookings via telephone and/or e-mail in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Experience with complex ticketing, exchanges and refunds.
  • Keeps informed of all airline rules, regulations, and current affairs and communicates information accurately and appropriately.
  • Maintain and assist with statistical and financial records.
  • Provide sales reports to management.
  • Exceed sales targets and profit goals.
  • Supports 24/7 environment.
  • Ability to work well in a highly pressurised environment, and ability to adapt quickly to increases in travel request volumes.
  • Must have the ability to effectively multi-task while maintaining professional rapport with corporate clients.
  • Strong written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
