GRS Recruitment are working closely with a well-established Food & Beverage management group with 25 years of success in the industry. They are currently looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in Limassol. As part of their continued growth and commitment to excellence, they are looking for a dedicated professional to contribute to their multinational team. The ideal candidate will benefit from great working hours, a supportive and friendly team environment, and the added advantage of 13 salaries per year.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accurately process and manage invoices from suppliers, ensuring they are correctly matched with purchase orders and contracts while adhering to company policies and timelines.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all supplier payments, ensuring prompt disbursement and proper documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Manage the creation and issuance of purchase orders for subcontractors, ensuring all documentation aligns with project budgets and contract terms.
  • Ensure the accurate entry of all financial transactions in the general ledger, including adjustments, payments, and month-end closing entries, to maintain the integrity of financial records.
  • Accurately calculate and process employee salaries, including base pay, overtime, bonuses, and deductions such as taxes and Social Insurance contributions.
  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring that all data is organized and easily accessible for audits and reviews.
  • Assist with any additional financial tasks or projects as assigned by senior management, contributing to the smooth running of the finance department.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Proven experience in payroll and accounting, ideally in a similar role within a dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of Cyprus tax laws, Social Insurance, and payroll systems, ensuring full compliance with local legal requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
